After proudly serving in the British Army for five years, Matt returned to his hometown of Dundee with a strong work ethic, discipline, and a desire to build a new career. He began working as a trainee commercial tyre fitter, where he quickly developed a genuine passion for the trade.
Despite the demanding nature of the job — long hours and working outdoors in all weather conditions — Matt embraced the challenge and gained valuable experience working with several respected tyre companies across the region.
Driven by his dedication to high standards, customer service, and a deep understanding of the industry, Matt founded The Tyre Soldier to offer a more responsive, mobile, and customer-focused tyre fitting solution. His goal is simple: to keep drivers moving safely and efficiently — anytime, anywhere.
